For the past few years, Richard and his Dad have been working on a game that they (along with a few cousins) invented quite a long time ago. It is finally finished! They have created a game company called "Fun At Home Games" and their first game is called "Swashbuckled!" It is a great game! You carry cargo from port to port (trying to make the most money is the object of the game), but, it's not easy. You encounter pirates, Lord Nelson, storms, wars and treasure islands along the way. It teaches geography and history as the cities are from the 1806 time period. I admit that as a girl, I do love this game!
It is now at Deseret Book, BYU bookstore, Games People Play, UVU bookstore, Amazon.com, and funathomegames.com. A few game distributors will be taking it as well. We are encouraging friends and family who live farther away from us to order online at www.funathomegames.com.
Let us know if you have questions about it. I will post more pictures of the game this week.

Kenneth is really excited to see that Swashbuckled is finally being sold to the masses. How exciting :)
That's pretty cool Richard and his family made a game. I know lots of people who talk about doing something like that, but then never actually follow through. I'll have to check it out.
That is so exciting! I want to start a collection of games for Houston and I and eventually our kids. I am just getting the hang of this whole blog thing. How do I find people and add them as friends on my page? HELP! Thanks!
That's awesome! I am sure we will love it. It's very similar to a game we have, but of course very different too. We are excited to play, congratulations!!
I remember hearing them talk about this -- how cool that it's available!
Hey Kimberly! Glad to know where you are now -- I will look forward to "checking up on you"! It's fun to see that Richard and Dick finally got the game published! I hope it sells well -- keep me posted on how the Swashbuckling is going!
